MartinSpace is the initiative of Martin van de Pol, working for Delta-Utec in 1997 for installation of a GPS on the tethered satellite TEAMSAT/YES. In co-operation with Delta-Utec, MartinSpace is trying to make space more accessible and more attractive to young people by applying a new engineering approach: planning of short missions for nano-satellites built with commercial components only.
